We’re so proud of our graduating seniors! Everyone is aware how “not normal” the 2020 graduation has been. So we’re doing all we can to celebrate these young adults.
Piper Taylor Brown
Piper, your graduation is a direct result of the way that you constantly strive for excellence. Your Dad & I know you’ll have a future full of many great achievements & accolades. We are so proud of you!
Mom & Dad
Hunter I’m so proud of you and everything you have accomplished throughout your High School career. Hunter earned a Varsity letter in cross country, basketball, soccer and tennis. She has been a member of the student council, ACE club, FCA and received the McCoy award for academic excellence. She earned money mowing yards and worked as a lifeguard (not to mention saving 3 people last summer). As busy as she has been, she still managed to maintain a GPA of 3.7 or higher throughout all four years. Hunter will be attending William Jewell college where she plans to earn her degree in psychology. I know your senior year has not turned out like you hoped but keep working hard at everything you do, and you will conquer all your dreams.
I believe in you. Love,
Isabella “Izzy” Dedrick
Isabella “Izzy” is our first born, therefore our first senior. Izzy always has a smile on her face. Even during this difficult time and all the disappointments that have came with the pandemic (no last day of school, no prom or graduation, etc), she has continued to keep a smile on her face. I honestly think, we as parents, have taken it harder than her. She has worked hard during her high school years and maintained a stellar GPA. Izzy is the type of person to make everyone feel happy and welcome. She is a free spirit who lights up the room. She plans to attend Northwest Missouri State in the fall. Her goal is to one day become a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. We are so proud of her with not only her accomplishments and goals, but also the wonderful woman she has become. Congrats Izzy, and we cannot wait to see what you are going to do!
You made it!! I couldn’t be more proud of the young man you have become and the accomplishments you have made. I know this isn’t the way you expected Senior year to end, but embrace all the memories. You have excelled in the classroom, dominated on the baseball field and made lifelong friends. YOU ARE THE CLASS OF 2020!!!!! Go get em’ kiddo!!
Formally known as Señor Swag
I know this year has not gone as planned, but there is no doubt in my mind you will thrive through all this and shine brighter than ever! You are a very loving and caring young man, and I am so proud to be your Mom! I am the lucky one! Congratulations on graduation, I can’t wait to see what the next chapter in your life brings you.
Jackson is a graduate from Lee’s Summit West High School. He is graduating with A+ and honors. Jackson was active with the LSW debate team all 4 years. Jackson split his senior year between LSW and Longview college taking dual credit college courses. Jackson also works part time at Target in Lee’s Summit! Jackson is the friendliest kid you will ever meet with a sharp wit that will have you laughing immediately after meeting him. I’m so proud of him and his accomplishments! He has handled this COVID-19 disruption of his senior year with such a great attitude! There is no doubt that he will make his mark in this world in a big way!
